Thanks for the critique! The client really wanted a lot more functionality with how the pages and menus animated, so that is why I went with flash as the best option to achieve what they wanted.
thanks a lot, it's for investors of this start-up... but also the website and such. the length was decided upon before we got the project, but I wish these were shorter!
It's really well put together. My only question is the context of where its going. Is this meant to be a commercial AD for web or TV? The only reason I ask is because I noticed it was over 2 minutes in length, which seems longer than a standard commercial. Otherwise, it's really nice. :D
This was my first project using a brush on rubber mold technique. The figure is a stylized self-portrait which I sculpted out of plasticine. I kept it the natural color of the plastic material to imply that the owner of this toy could customize it in anyway he or she sees fit.
Great photographs. I like the first, the third and the forth because of the middle 60's retro style appeal. The fifth photograph is also great. The background of the photos perfectly matched with the model and her visual style. The colors are lovely. It has an early fall look.
The composition and styling feel fresh and interesting to me, while staying intuitive to casual viewers. I admire the use of natural, muted color and the extraneous elements give the right amount of detail to make it come alive. I really like your use of old paper such as the map across the top. There are enough elements at work on the page to tell a great story. A bonus to any MMORPG fan!
Just a couple of suggestions - There might be too much textural work going on when every surface has some enhancement. A more simple fleur could ease the eye. And I feel the 3D axe (staff?) at the login just doesn't work. It's a cool idea, but It could benefit from a better, more natural placement in the box.
This is stunning work and I'd love to see it in use!
I like the simplicity of the website. Only few suggestions: I would put logo and navigation on the left side, not on the center of the page. Therefore, the phone from below the header I would put on the right side aligned with the logo without the button, just the phone number. The rest of the website seems nice and neat. Hope this help.
This is a nice design but I do have a few problems:
1. There's an issue with alignment in the layout for me. I'd prefer to have content align with logo and that's not happening right now. As a result it causes the design to be a little chaotic and busy.
2. I'm not sure why the header is smaller than the body, maybe for style but I'm not quite enjoying that personally.
3. Layers in a design is great, you have a lot of it and it adds dimension but it's possibly that might might have a bit too much. FYI: Layers I define as sections. In total, I count 8 layers.
4. The pink strip in the footer for example is a layer, I actually think the layout would look better if it was a subtle colour, something matching to the brown, like a darker or lighter shade of it.
5. I don't think 'client login' needs to be so big and dramatic... less is more.
A lot of it are personal choices to me so it's really my 2 cent. Generally speaking, it's a nice design.
Clean and cute wallpaper, I'd use it! I guess 'this costume sucksss-' is a reference to Dracula. Maybe you could do a T-shirt print out of that bird too?
