I really like the colors and the type, but nothing on this says "dance academy" other than the actual text. Feels like it could of been better designed to show case something more dance. Yes, the logo is nice and colorful, and I can see how it could convey movement and the twirling a ballerina would do, but most people wouldn't get that from looking at this logo. Also, the drastic change in the type for "of" really throws off the design and makes the word stand out against the rest.. Either the entire "Academy of Dance" should of been done in that type, or it should of just been left alone. Overall, good logo, but just doesn't convey anything dance related to me.
