  • A few years ago I had this really nice jacket I got from the gap or perhaps it was anchor blue I'm not really sure because I don't have it anymore. I couldn't wear it because the buttons being brown made for really good eyes. So I sewed them to my face and walked around like that for three days everything was fine as long as I never opened my eyes because this would pull on the threads and cause me lots of pain. But if I kept my eyes closed and wore a chefs jacket and hat I got from a uniform store that also had brown buttons it made for a really smart look.
     
     
    I like food and I like drawings of characters who like food. Even more than that what I really like is any character wearing a chefs hat who really likes food because a chefs hat means you like food. I wish I could find another jacket like my old one but this time I would use my real eyes. It would reduce my painful complications and I would still have the jacket to show for it.

  • Fantastic work Richard! I must say, I don't have to many complaints with this design! I love the humor you brought into what most people would consider a boring subject. Color combinations, illustrations, and layout are spot on in my opinion.
     
     
    One small thing I feel that could be considered is the 'Order Now' CTA. I think it has a strong appearance which is fantastic but I would have liked to see some different verbiage other than "order now". With the site's theme you have the opportunity for some catchy line here. Just a thought :)
     
     
    I would also agree with Morten about the post it note, but once again its a small details. Seeing it on sub pages might bring it all together :) ..I would love to see what you worked up for the sub pages of this design?

    Well this was a clean, easy on the eyes site with good navigation. Like your cartoon too. As you say, it warm's the whole site up. Funny what some well designed icon's and/or illustrations bring to the totality of a design.
     
     
    You have used a good combination of warm red's and yellow's, and it all blends together very good! I love the wavy border at the bottom of the page logo, but i would consider loosing them all together in the main content area. In my humble opinion they just don't work there and it takes off some of the clean finish of the site.
     
     
    One more thing that bothers me a little is the postit note on the "what are they saying about us" header.. It sorta looks a bit out of place as there are no other similar items used on the page, but then again it just might bee that i am a little picky :-P.. who knows ;-)
     
     
    All together a very clean and readable site that shakes it's money maker, and even does a litle lapdance for'ya too ;-) well waddayaknow ;-P Keep it up Mr. Fang!
